A single update released by a US-based anti-virus business has caused worldwide mayhem.
People are calling it the largest outage in history, and while there have been a few recently, it’s difficult to think of another that has affected as many businesses and services globally as this one has. There were too many names to track, so I stopped updating my list of brands after an hour.


The anti-virus company Crowdstrike may be unknown to you, but what it did to its virus scanner Falcon had a very negative impact on millions of Windows-powered devices.
